HOW MEAL PLANS WORK

Each student meal plan comes with a certain number of meals.Ìý Most plans reset each week (Frequent Foodie, Balanced Bite and Daily Diner). Your allotment of meals resets every Monday morning.Ìý The 100 block is 100 for the semester and the Campus Cravings plan includes an unlimited number of meals that can be used in the 3 main dining halls.

Meal Plan Express allows you to use your meals in some locations that don't normally accept meal plans.Ìý Cafe Nova is one example. In Cafe Nova students may order a meal and pay for it by using one of their meal plan meals.Ìý MPE deducts one meal from your allotted meals and credits $9.00 towards your order.Ìý Acceptance and value of MPE varies, details are on our location pages.Ìý MPE's are not additional meals, they are part of your allotted meals, the number of MPE's you can use per day, week or meal period varies by meal plan.

Each meal plan comes with a certain number of Dining Dollars which can be spent in any dining location, including some on campus vending machines.Ìý Dining Dollars can be used in locations that do not accept MPE, to supplement an MPE purchase that exceeds the MPE value, or for transactions that you'd prefer not to use an MPE for.Ìý Dining Dollars are allotted per semester and unused points do not carry over to the following semester.

This contract shall be enforced for the full academic year. The usual period begins with dinner on the eve of the first official class day of the fall semester and concludes on the last day of final exams. In the event that a student signs the contract after the first day of the Fall semester, the period shall begin from the date of housing occupancy and conclude on the last day of the student's final exam schedule in the Spring semester. Meal plans follow the academic calendar. Fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring and Easter breaks are not covered by this contract. During Fall, Thanksgiving, Spring and Easter breaks guest meals and points may be used in dining locations that are open.
